COLTIVANDO Office

The Coltivando Office project was developed as part of a Co-Design activity within the Master's Degree Program in Interior and Spatial Design at Politecnico di Milano.

The project focused on revitalizing an agricultural and gardening area located on the Bovisa Durando Candiani Campus, known as Coltivando. The intervention aimed to introduce educational and training activities for the local community, helping participants understand the importance of biomaterials and learn how to produce them independently.

A series of workshops were organized to teach the process of creating biomaterial blocks. These blocks were then used to build the Coltivando workshop space while also serving as planters for vegetation. This created a living skin that visually and physically connected the new structure to the surrounding Coltivando garden.

The images shown in this section document one of the Co-Design activities carried out at the School of Design facilities of Politecnico di Milano, where participants collaborated in the development and production of these biomaterial components.
